SCHUBERT | Fantasy in F Minor for Four Hands, D. 940: mm. 543–52

Piano fingerings for Fantasy in F Minor for Four Hands, D. 940, by Franz Schubert

“I find it easier to start the left-hand octaves in m. 544 and keep them through the down beat of m. 547. Taking the Cs as octaves in mm. 549 and 552 allows the left hand move to its new position earlier.”

SCHULHOFF | Hot-Sonate for Alto Saxophone and Piano: I. m. 60

Piano fingerings for Schulhoff's Hot-Sonate

“Editing the score to take out the doubled ‘D’ between hands make this section much easier to read after the page turn and the splitting between hands a bit easier to play when it doesn't feel as natural as previous moments it happens in the piece.”

R. SCHUMANN | Fantasiestücke, Op. 12: V. In der Nacht: mm. 220–23

“I use the sostenuto pedal to sustain the low F without blurring the grace notes in the damper pedal. Dividing the grace notes between the hands results in a powerful and secure delivery.”
